EuroGlobalMap is a 1:1 million scale topographic dataset covering 45 countries and territories in the European region. EuroGlobalMap is perfect for use as background to many applications from planning, monitoring and network analysis to presenting environmental policies. The dataset contains six themes: Administrative boundaries/The water network/Transport networks/Settlements/Elevation/Names locations. Simple, but useful at certain scales. This data is for the who;e of Europe, if you are interested in just GB, then please grab the GB data, it is more manageable. http://www.sharegeo.ac.uk/handle/10672/374. Layer files have been created to theme this data, you can use them or create your own style. When using this data, please attribute the source as EuroGeographics and refer to their Opendata licence which can be found here: http://www.eurogeographics.org/content/eurogeographics-euroglobalmap-opendata. GIS vector data. This dataset was first accessioned in the EDINA ShareGeo Open repository on 2013-04-18 and migrated to Edinburgh DataShare on 2017-02-22. |
